Wound Healing Pathways
At the Bement's Lab, I work with PhD student Lila Hoachlander-Hobby under Professor William Bement. My project uses confocal microscopy to study the mechanism behind single-cell wound healing. This is important because understanding the underlying mechanism can potentially lead to improved treatments for those with genetic disorders such as muscular dystrophy that affect their healing. In particular, I am interested in the role of Arp2/3 in the the Cdc42 signaling pathway in single cell repair.

This is me at the ASCB Conference 2024 in San Diego, CA!!
