Research Experience
Starting in her sophomore year, Trang has worked at the Bement's lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her project focuses on understanding the pathways of wound-healing with the goal of accelerating the healing process for patients with conditions such as muscular dystrophy.

Trang was also selected for a competitive summer internship program at Novartis, where she developed a workflow for the new Nanovial technology for single-cell analysis. This project aims to improve efficiency and bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and patient treatments.
Other Extracurriculars
Since her sophomore year, Trang has been a senior editor at the Journal of Undergraduate Science & Technology (JUST). Here, she oversees eight editorials, manages a team of six editors, and conducts writing workshops to train/mentor new members. ​
